Tip of the week : 1000D does video and Time Lapse.

All you need is a piece of software called EOS MOVIE RECORDER.

Download from
sourceforge.net/projects/eos-movrec/

You have to attach your camera with your laptop and use the software.

why not use the remote shooting that follows the camera? That's what I use when I do time lapses with my 1000D though ;)
What's the differences between them anyway? :O

That is actually a tool that uses the LIVE VIEW settings to RECORD movies at 23 or 24 FPS. Much like first generation DSLRs with video.
